Notes: Wow, great story! I feel lucky to have gotten "Amorphous" as a bonus piece for this project. The plot was fantastic, and the sense of impending doom was always present. And I must say any story with two Ianto's is A-plus in my book. I did this as a book cover, but it might also double as a poster of some sort. It has a sci-fi feel to it because the plot is full of some timey-wimey pontifications. I did think about featuring either The Doctor or Ianto along with Rose, but I decided this is entirely a Rose story. As the story points out, it's her burden to bear. I could see a series of covers for this story featuring the other main characters. Definitely one with Rose and Ianto (there's a pair I'd like to see). Everything is crisp and white, because I have a tendency to lean towards the simplistic. In this case, I think it creates a better contrast with the dark clouds hanging over Rose's head. The title is mirrored as the two storylines, dimensions even, somewhat mirror each other in the story. I went through several quotes to feature, but I felt the line I chose really suited the mood of the cover. But with all that said, I just hope everyone enjoys this story as much as I did.

Notes: As far as I can work out, the story is set somewhere between Blood Rites and Dead Beat as far as Dresden Files canon is concerned. I did make sure I worked this out reading through the story and thought: I'm going to have to take this into account...which is why I'm facepalming quite hard now. Yeah, Harry's hand...I can't tell right from left, okay >.<

Notes: Time passed incredibly quickly when I read These Parts Won't Break. It was fantastic. Every emotion, situation and reaction tailored every single character accurately down to the last word.
I realize both images are vaguely detailed as well, something I apologize very much for. They’re not anything to go by compared to the story.
I'm very poor when creating anything that remotely resembles a human being, an excuse for the lack of facial details on the first image and the tactful angled-from-behind figure in the second. Owen’s place was a blast to re-create, even though I know many household items are missing.
I created the two images on Paint Shop Pro 9 with the aid of my Wacom tablet.

Notes: I really hope the writer of the story is going to like these; I tried to capture the atmosphere of the story as best as I could.

Notes: I haven't painted anything for a comedy before so this was an entertaining challenge! I hope Netgirl doesn't mind the liberties I took with the cover. The scene depicted doesn't appear in the story but I couldn't resist including the lime green octopus. *g* The second picture is just a quick little bonus character portrait of the Doctor & Rose (and I had painted one grinning alien, so why not another one?) Digital paintings. Corel Painter X and Wacom tablet.

The story had a tenderhearted dreamy quality to it, so I made the art soft to reflect that feeling as I wanted to complement the story.I hope you enjoy.

Notes: Originally I wanted to do a cover and some sketches. The challenge arrived and suddenly I found myself with a bunch of sketches but none of them able to stand alone. For the cover I wanted the water to be the centre piece of it, the image of the lake inhabited by the Kthnara, the main mystery. And then I wanted to draw Maggie, because she was such a fun character and a whole lot of work in the actual drawing process. She was such a positive influence that I also incorporated her and Jack into the second cover, because in the end the story felt always more like the description of a connection between those two and I hope you’ll fully enjoy it.
I wish you all some enchanting hours.

Notes: There may be some confusion about the depiction of Harry Dresden in the two sketches, one is the TV-version (alone), the other is the book-version of him as I see it (Jack&Harry). Hope that helps.
